A Short Break
How time flies.
By now half a year has passed since my last post.
A Different Rhythm
I had almost forgotten about this project of mine, as life sped up and new job responsibilities, a new home purchase (with its accompanying continually urgent fixes) and various inserted priorities have pushed my many hobby projects (including this), to the backburner.
New frontiers of AI models and their applications have also extended my backlog of project ideas significantly (may try my hand at making a phone app), whilst new year resolutions also added the previously discarded gym routine back to my daily 5AM agenda.
As my discretionary time decreased, my perception of time really did start to take a turn.
Efficiency became paramount, and dedicated color study time became rarer, and though general focus on color dulled, color itself did not disappear.
Instead, short breaks welcomed brighter, more saturated and appreciated distils in memory.
I started to dedicate time to just sitting back at resting:
- Looking out the window during train ride instead of phone time
- A 3 minute walk around office every few hours

Return
A few days ago I picked up my old trusty Rollbahn again and revisited the journalled notes on color I had dotted before.
After careful consideration of my current situation, I decided to take continue this project but reframe it slightly.
As dedicated time to color theory and learnings shortens, learning posts will continue but with longer interims. Hopefully this will allow me to retrospect and reflect on these longer before posting.
Product and technical learnings and postings may become more frequent.
Journal entries may instead become the bulk of this project. As I shift into adapting this project to a digital journal of my daily life and the colors which frame it.
